Money is Power

Money is Power
Does The Super Hero make The Money? Or Does The Money Make The Super Hero?

Does The Super Hero make The Money? Or Does The Money Make The Super Hero?

In the comic industry and in society today you see the value that money provides you with. The diversity you make to become a super hero it would get you the latest gear that technology can offer viewing this from a super hero’s point of you. You would want to be the man or female that cannot be destroyed. In society today you see billionaires become super heroes, because money gives them the option to do whatever they want with it. In this blog my group and I would be focusing on how in the comic industries, and in society today money is the resource needed to become a super hero. A variety of examples are shown to us that makes us reflect on that specific super hero, or in that specific individual in society. The effect that has in us is that you would want to be that Batman, Captain America, and that Donald Trump. This is a necessary topic that needs attention, because not everyone is a billionaire, or with valuable expensive gadgets. This is not a matter of individuals, but nation wide how do we as a country manage our financial stability. Being rich person and a super hero isn’t so different. To be straightforward you’re sitting on top of the world with all that merchandise.

In the film and comic industry and in society now in days money plays an important role in the resources once has. Along with the abilities the resources could allow you to reach. With money a person could create it’s own combat gear or weapons along with a new identity. When they are under cover playing their double life as a super hero fighting crime. For example if we look how batman Ironman and Arrow become super hero’s would they had actually been able to be who they are with out the resources that their riches has provided them. As a billionaire or even a millionaire the world is your playground to explore to build and to discover. The sky is the limit and at times not even the sky is a limit anymore. Many times this multi billionaires individuals having money isn’t enough for them they want to leave a legacy behind and what better way would that be to be a super hero.

Remix

SUPERHEROS AS AFRICAN AMERICANS
Im personally going to remix my favorite superheros and make them come

Warp-up

My blog topic has taught me the value of money, it has taught me that money is one of the most important things to society. Money makes our favorite superheros much of what they are, money makes most of the people we look up to, this blog has taught me to go after my dreams and make as much money as i want with both hard work and dedication.

Academic sources

The article talks about how people are socially accepted only if they have social popularity or they have money, It explains that money could easily be translated into power in our society. There are also various studies performed like showing that people get less tensed or stressed when money is on their hand, or people being tensed up after just spending a relatively large portion of money compared to what they have totally. I could relate this to our blog in the sense that money is what makes these superheros what they are and without it they are nothing.

Kirby Exhibit

personally, i feel this image shows us that its better to be a wealthy superhero than to be an average on. The image shows Hulk, Thor and Iron-man, Thor and iron-man are both wealthy superheros unlike hulk who is quite average.looking at the picture its quite noticeable that Thor and Iron-man look flashy and clean compared to the Hulk.

Integrating quotes

In the blog SCREEN RANT, Rachel Paxton talks about 10 surprisingly rich superheros. Most entertaining to me was Aqua man, being the King of Atlantis he is already entitled to some form of wealth. Paxton goes on to say Aqua man rules a very large portion of the earth "seeing that he rules over 70% of Earth" here Paxton is simply saying Aqua man rules all of the sea which is approximately 70 percent of the earth.
Second is Nighthawk who s a Marvel superhero. Paxton explains that Nighthawk whose real name is Kyle Richmond was born into wealth, however his father died in a plain crash which lead Kyle to inherit all of the Richmond enterprise. Paxton says that Kyle's net worth was never documented "No one knows exactly how much money Richmond has" this explains that Kyle is probably a person who doesn't want people to know how much money he really has.
Lastly is Doctor Strange, he goes by the Stephen Strange, he trained with the "ancient one" who taught him and made him become the soccer supreme of earth Stephen was already a surgeon before he became a superhero, he made a very high salary working as a surgeon "with the highest earners earning over a quarter of a million a year, so Doctor Strange probably already had a sizable bank account" this means that Doctor Strange made all this money over the years and hence already became wealthy even before becoming a superhero.

Mission statement

Hello all my name is Nosa Osarenkhoe. We are going to be discussing on our blog titled "what makes a superhero, this is a very interesting blog that simple talks about the fact that a superhero is made or able to be a superhero because of his wealth. We are going to be discussing this over the coming weeks, how money makes a superhero and what they would be if they didn't have all the resources backing them up.

Hello my fellow bloggers today I want to talk to you about the sources on top on how they are a credible source to my research how money makes superheroes. These sources are credible sources that help you understand the significance of how money makes makes a superhero. For instance these sources help me validate the idea that the caused to be a superhero takes money and production. With the hackers handbook distributed in my class it demonstrates why and when and how these sources are important. Hope you guys understand this my concept this week hope to see you next week for me.

Wrap up final blog post

Hello fellow viewers this will be our last blog post for our blog. Before I go I want to leave my final comments our thoughts towards the subject if money creates Superheroes. Money could buy power whether it’s used for good or for evil. Money puts individuals in the position of power. In the life of a superhero money is a tool to obtain the necessities necessary in order for their crusade to be successful. We have to take in consideration that the amount of money need it is out of normality. A super hero should also have enough money to also sustain their lives as civilians for their every day expenses. That is a fact that not any ordinary individual could have the luxury to say they could afford. So not just anyone could put on a mask and become a vigilante and try to save the day. Even though many other super heroes also have powers not all are seen the same than those with money because it creates resources to over come those who don’t. The super heroes social background and level is also a fact to take into consideration when we compare the superheroes that do not have money to those superheroes that do have wealth. My final comment i want to leave is to watch the new movie thats coming back Superman v.s Batman and see for yourself. How much influence money has in a Superheroes life and how different individuals with money are seen by society. Compare to those individuals who do not obtain wealth even if they have natural super powers and they are consider superheroes.

My fellow audience unfortunately this would be my final post on the blog “What Makes A Superhero?” it was a pleasure to serve you all. What I learned through my experiences in this blog is how to look at our theme topic through different angles on how money makes a superhero. This topic very important not only with money you can become a superhero. It is important to acknowledge that money is a vital role in society, but there is different ways to become someone in society. After all on our mission statement our goal was to persuasive enough to make you our audience agree that without money Iron Man wouldn’t be Iron Man so goes as for celebrities. Me and my fellow bloggers hope we have achieve our goals Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Super Hereo remix

Hellow my fellow blog viewers i will be focusing on the remix of mixing superheroes with players from the NBA. This picture above us relates to our blog theme does money makes super heroes. As we could see in this image we have professional basketball players and super heroes reaching out for the golden glove with championship rings that Kobe Bryant has in his hand. Kobe Bryant could be seen as Iron Man which is why we also see super heroes in this image. The middle top ring could also be represented as the power source that Iron man has on his chest to power his suit and keep him self alive. We idolize and see in many occasions professional athletes as superheroes but we could look up to. Money brings individuals to a higher level in society and also brings fame to them.

Monday, November 23, 2015

Hello my fellow bloggers today we will focusing on the remix of mixing superheroes with my choosing NFL professional football players. The example above gives aspiration as in our blog theme that money makes superheroes. Our theme would fit best with this example above that money provides them an identification that money brings fame, power, and fortune. For example on the above picture you have Marshall Lynch as wolverine the x-men, Cam Newton as superman, Clay Mathews as the hulk, Peyton Manning as Iron Man, Calvin Johnson as Megatron and many more athletes. I decided to use this picture for our group because it shows that to get to a certain level in society money is involved. As we all know money brings fame as these above are showing being the faces of there franchise they are being payed top dollar to be in the position they are in.

This Super Man is the Red Son version his spaceship lands in a Ukrainian collective farm rather than in Kansas. So instead of fighting for the American justice Super Man Red Son is fighting for a never ending battle for the leader of the Soviet Union Stalin and his socialism along with the international expansion of the Warsaw Pact. Super Man becomes a newcomer for Stalin’s inner circle even though he his kind hearted he also dedicated to the cause of communism. When it is possible goes around helping the soviet people  around the USSR.
When Super Man takes off he flies off up in a diagonal line which if we refer back to Molly Bangs How Pictures Work Bangs states that diagonal lines going up in a image refers to hope and faith. If we look down on the image we could see that many people are cheering him up as he flies of that he is seen as a national hero for the Soviet Union commmunity. If we look at the back of the image where the red flags are that is the face of Joseph Stalin A.K.A as the man of steel. During the 1950's was when Joseph Stalin was ontop of the pyramid with most of the power during the Cold War against the United states of America and when his ideology of communism was at the strongest point spreading across the world.

In the Show Arrow Oliver Queen is a rich playboy who his family owns a large company called Queen Enterprises. He left on a ship trip one day with his gf sister and his father and got lost at sea. During 5 years he developed fighting skills beyond his believe and learned how to master the bow and arrow. After his 5 year jorney was over he came back to Starling City as a vigilante called arrow with a mission to get rid of all thoose who failed the city with names on a book his father left for him. The reason he was able to take vengeance upon his own hands and fight crime during the night was because he did not have to worried about money, bills, or any of the necessities that the common person would. All he had was to worry about him self and the names in his book his father left for him. Money really did play a major factor in his role as a super hereo because he had all the resources that money could buy. He had his own arrow cave under his sister night club that they owned along with the best equipment and  technology along with the most qualified girl to operate the equipment. He had some of the best arrows in his kind that are impossible to make and a good team that had to be in a budget in order for them to stay. The reason why he could be a viglante full time was simply because he had all the money he could want to make his crusade.
Interview

The person who I interview is Caucasian, age 25 who has a high intelligible concept of the superhero movie industry.  First question I ask him was what do you think make certain individuals stand as a superhero ?
He responded they are many reasons that make a individual stand out as a superhero. Some people have a destiny to protect and fight for the people around them. Other just have the resources to afford to take on the role on their spare time or full time.
Second question I ask him was do you think that higher class individual's have a higher possibility on taking on the role of a superhero?
He responded unless the super hero individual isn't from this planet or had some sort of mutant experiment done towards them. So far we have not seen any poor lower class superheroe's uprising from society to take on the roles.
The last question I ask him was do you think that money plays an important role in creating a superhero?
He responded yes for example and we look at Iron Man he created his own suit that cost over a million dollar. If we look at Ant Man the creator of that suit is also a multi billionaire who owns a company. If we look at the Avengers the one founding the whole at Avengers program is Iron Man. If will look at the fantastic four they are wealthy people with money that gets them the resources, weapons, vehicles and all the accessories they need to fight crime.
Academic Sources
In the article what super hero gets to be a hero ? race and identity in comics talks about how many different supero heroes have more changes than other's. They have more changes than other on becoming succesful because of their ethnicity along with thier identity. Indentity could be seen as multiple aspects. It could be seen as thier wealth richest or social social statues along with thier backgrounds and where they come from. Which ofcourse play a huge advantage over the rest of super hereo's when it comes down to more opportunities of finding fame. How ever, the question if money plays an important factor in a super hero life. Whereas some are convinced that it does. Other maintain that a superhero will raise through good or bad with money or no money when he or she is need it to save the day.
In this picture from Jack Kirby exhibit shows the famous fantastic four comic book. If we examan the picture up closely we could see that they provide hope and secuirty. If we look towards the back we could see that they are the bad guys who are trying to cause choas and destruction. This image realtes to our topic does money create super heros because if we look back to how fantastic four was created we could recall that they were all expedition through space when their powers were given to them when they were hit by some sort of space waves. Point is that they were all in a high social or economic postition that allowed them to obtain the resources and make the expedition through space possible .

Integrating Quotes

n the Article 5 of the Richest Super hero's by Erika Rawes it talks about the back ground grounds and the describtions of the wealthy Marvel characters. The first wealthy super hero they intriduce is Medusa it states, " Medusa is a member of the inhuman royal family and also married to their leader, Black Bolt." Conventional wisdom has it that once an indivudal comes from a in human royal/ wealthy family and espicaly when married to their leader it comes easier to them. To use the resources that thier in human kind already has or has to create with the economic and socail postition they already have to become or stay as a super hero. The secind character that is introduced is Crystal it states, "That Crystal is the princess of the inhumans and Like her sister Medusa, Crystal is a member of the royal inhuman family. Her (Earthly) wealth is virtually unlimited. "Just like her sister Medusa , Crystal is also part of the royal life style she is a princess in the in human society and is clearly pointed out thst wealth is virtually unlimted. Which just like her sister she could give her self the resources to continue saving the world and fighting of crime. The third charcter that was introduced was famouse o mighty Iron Man it states, "As one of the most intelligent and influential people in the world, Tony Stark is much more than your typical billionaire playboy. His earings are roughly $5 billion, comparable to some of America’s highest-paid, real-life CEOs." Iron man spend over 1 Billion on his Iron Man suit alone but when is making 5 Billion to him 1 million is like a $100 for the typical person. He is the founder of the whole Avegeners project so he is taking a group of some of the most known super hero's in the world and taking them under his economical wing.
Hello fellow viewers the picture i'll be talking about today is Iron Man in a $1 bill. Iron man is the founder for the super hero team the Avengers that fight against intergalactic enemy's forgeign enemies and anything or any one who stand in the way of human kind's survivory. If we look at the $1 bill we will see Iron Man's face instead of our first president of the United States of America President George Washington. The color's used and the line and texture of the drawing of Iron Man's is dark and anger but reflects hope in his eyes. Another thing we could notice is that on the side of the Iron's Man picture where traditionally says The Department of Treasury in a green circle a blue one is written on top along with the name the Avengers indicating that they don't need the Government's money. In other words it is indicating that they are their own super hero's power of law.

In the article The World ‘s Richest Super hero’s relates to my blog topic does money create super heroes? It talks about the value of Black Panther, Iron man, Bat Man, Lex Luther, Dr. Doom, Green Arrow, Professor X and Magneto. Black panther is estimated to be worth $500 BN he runs is own country some where in southern Africa. He owns the world’s entire supply of vibranium and is also the one of the smartest brains in marvel universe. Iron man estimated value is $100 BN he funded the entire Avengers super hero team. He owns one of the biggest companies on the world STARK INDUSTIRES. He also spend over 1.5 BN on is Iron Man suit alone. The mighty Batman estimated value is $ 80 BN Mr. Bruce Wayne owns a multi- Billion dollar company along with a massive mansion with a under ground bat cave. Batman spends over 80 million on his vehicles alone. Lex Luthor estimated value is $75 BN and he owns Lex Corp a multi- billion -dollar company. Dr. Doom estimated value is $ 35$ BN he rules his own country in Eastern Europe. Green Arrow it is estimated value is $7 BN Mr. Oliver Queen owns a multi- billion company and owns stocks in many other rich companies. Professor X estimated value is $ 3.5 BN which he inheritance when he was born. Magneto is estimated to be worth $ 0.5 BN which he has a huge amount of stolen Nazi Gold. That being said many of this so called “ Super heroes” Could give them self’s the luxury to be called such since they have the resources that money provides them for their gadgets, weapons, suits, armory, and vehicle’s.  This is a very controversy topic how ever, is on the question of super hero’s becoming hero’s because of their riches, where as some are convinced that with money or with out money if you have the change to impact the world and become a hero the way is wide open, other maintain that it’s destiny what creates a super hero if it’s your calling sooner or later you will become what your faith has been written for you. This article is a realible source because it was last updated on 2014 which is recent its not out dated. I also did my own research after reading this article and this information giving is accurate to what I also found.

My mission statement

My name is John Conner and I strongly believe that money plays an important factor in a super hero’s career. I will continue to go more into details later down the road on this topic. This topic caught my attention because just how in comic books and super hero movies money allows the individuals to have resources to gain power the same concepts applies in society now in days. If you want to continue to read my ideas and my thoughts please visit our blog and you will see evidence and facts how money plays an important role in a super hero’s life.

Group Thinking

From Nosa Osarenkhoe

Nestor Saravia
What does it take to be a Superhero?

This picture clearly states what our blog is talking about. Batman ,Iron man and Green arrow being humans all have money while superman who is an alien life form doesn't have any money. This is not a coincidence but just a proof that our blog knows what its talking about. Batman, Ironman and Green arrow all need money to maintain their expensive weaponry, gadgets and costumes, and also to live a healthy and comfortable life because they spend most of it fighting crime. Superman on the other hand doesn't have any weapons and doesn't sustain any bodily injuries hence he doesn't need money.d71cd097db5ea7ff9fb4c67e5d20f463.jpg

Hello my fellow blog viewers this weak ill develop a critical analysis of iron man. Also, I will develop an argument that iron man indeed is a myth. Throughout the previous blogs I have presented the argument that some superheroes have indeed bought themselves their heroic attributes. This week ill present you with a broader perspective what would happen to those that bought themselves their heroic abilities but then had them taken away. Iron man being the most obvious personnel that we can identify utilizing money and technology to purchase expensive gadgets, but what would happen to some of these characters wouldn’t have the ability to buy these things they would only be normal civilians like you and I are. Images and videos of fraud superheroes that money provides them a with a false characteristics of heroic attributes what would happen to him or her if they can no longer have those powers. The most obvious answer would be that him or her would only become one of us.

Monday, October 19, 2015

Hello my fellow bloggers today we will have the opportunity to interview someone to gain his or her perspective of how many makes a superhero. I interviewed a sibling his name is Jacob Porter he is fifteen years of age Hispanic. Freshmen in high school. What I’m going to do is use (N) for Nestor and (J) for Jacob throughout the interview.
N: What do you think makes a superhero?
J:  What I think makes a superhero is the gadgets just like batman and iron man. Some sort of way they come to be heroic because of the confidence they gain through there equipment.
N: Is money the number one factor to success of a superhero?
J: Yes
N: Why?
J: Without money you can’t do anything in the world.
N: Are superheroes without superpowers considered heroic?
J: No because they had to gain there powers through a second hand vendor, which in this point is whatever money, can buy.
N: Other then money what is it that makes a superhero?
J: There isn’t anything else specifically there is always a catch to being a superhero.
N: what are some of the things money can buy?
J: Great body armor, technology to incorporate weaponry, the ability to the things regular humans can’t
N: Last question. Can you argue that money has a vital role in a superhero?
J: No

Hello my fellow bloggers this week I have found a Peer Review article that would emphasize that money makes a superhero. In the article, “ Batman’s Back,” by Leslie Gray Streeter gives us various options that makes us comprehend the role of money plays has a huge impact on superheroes. In the article it states, “Batman’s only internal power is his pain and survivor's guilt, supplemented by the nifty gadgets and armor supplied by Daddy's money.” Streeter makes us realize that money is what makes batman a superhero. She also compares and contrasts the different scenarios when he has had to face villain, but has had to rely on his gadgets to safe the day.
Overall her argument is well organized and affective because she gives statistics about the past of batman to his future. Streets argument is very persuasive the examples and scenarios she illustrates to us throughout the article support her argument that without money Batman wouldn’t be who he is. What I suggest to Ms. Streeter is that if she stated the gadgets he used in detail it will support her claim even more. The example she provides makes us the audience look at batman in a way that makes us doubt his heroic persona.

Significance of Images

Hello fellow reader, today we will be talking about how this image is related to our blog. This is a image of Jack Kirby comics where Thor is on his way to save someone. This picture is showing how Thor is the main focus in this picture and the city is under him. This means that the city is under his protection like when bird are over their eggs to keep them save and warm. The "Diagonal shapes are dynamic because they imply motion or tension"(Bang 46), it starts from the left bottom corner and leads up to Thor ,"We can also see these bars leading us in the picture. The main focus of this image that Kirby made the mighty Thor, the god and saver of worlds. The people are looking up to him for hope that the world is not doom by all the evil and corruption as all those Well that's all for today and see your guys next time.

Hello my fellow blog viewers this week we will focus on Jacky Kirby's comic collection. This photo was taken in the Jack Kirby exhibit in CSUN and we will create an analysis of what the picture physically means and what is it trying to interpret to us the audience. We will also use, " How Pictures Work" by Molly Bang to support our claim. You can see visually that the Fantastic Four are fighting crime against the criminals lifting the rock. In the the perspective of our blog you see that there well equip with designer uniforms and with an incredible hulk per say made of rocks. Provided the fact that aren't really human like the statement above states that there superheroes. One can say what is it that makes them so confident to face the evil doers on top of the mountain? Given the chance to be apart of an elite force like the Fantastic Four the confidence given by physical appearance and the powers given by scientific genius that money can provide assures you the confidence that you can able to accomplish or defeat those evil doers. They look confident in the picture even though they are in a place of trouble. In the book Molly Bang states, " Rolling hills and rolling seas, boulders, rivers-but our earliest and strongest association is with bodies, especially our mother's bodies, and when we were babies, there was no place more secure and full comfort"(Bang 71). The confidence is given by the attributes given by the scientific intelligence. Thank you for tuning in this week see you guys next week with a different topic of money making superheroes.

Bored? Become A Hero!

Hello fellow readers today I will focusing on a other blogger relates to my topic. Many superheroes without power gain their wealth by inheriting it, that's what Alyssa Rosenberg states in her article, Superheroes And Inherited wealth v. Supervillian Entrepreneurs. Alyssa states that every superheroes inherit their health and that supervillians don't. They become Entrepreneurs, they work for what they want ,which is wealth. Unlike Arrow he got his father business. Alyssa talk how people become into superheroes because one the "inherited wealth and hasn’t had to work, acquiring superpowers or a sense of responsibility that leads our hero to fight crime". They find another way of feeling those responsibility if they are capable of it. She also mention that ," that the hero must wield enormous power in order to effectively perform the superheroic function", and i agree with her because without the power to become powerful that cannot be accomplished with their health. Also that superheroes use their health for a good cause,"accumulate vast sums of money because they’ll channel it for public benefit", that what also cause them to be show as heroes because they not only use that money to buy new gadgets like the arrow but also to use that money to save people .

Thursday, September 17, 2015

Hello my fellow audience this week we will be focusing on the fact that Iron Man could be anyone, but you have to have money to support that decision. In the Daily Mail news article, " U.S. Special Forces to be given air-conditioned Iron Man suits with hydraulics to make soldiers run faster, "published by Jill Reilly in her analyze she concluded that Special Forces Command, Adm. William McRaven has given the opportunity for military personnel to be given an, " Iron Man Suit." Throughout the news article that commander suggested that it would be call a, "Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (TALOS)." In the article Admiral McRaven states, " The suit would be designed to enable soldiers to carry large loads as well as having layers of smart materials fitted with sensors," the military has a variety of equipment options to move objects from place A to place B. You don't need necessarily an TALOS suit that will cost a fortune to make. Admiral McRaven claims, "He is calling on the technology industry, government labs and academia to help build what is being dubbed as the Iron Man suit in reference to the Marvel Comics character Tony Stark, an engineer who builds a rocket-powered suit and becomes a superhero," rests upon the questionable assumption that Iron Man is a true superhero with that the intelligence and money to support him. By focusing on TALOS suits, Admiral McRaven overlooks the deeper problem of the major debt the country is in and would create a bigger problem. Instead of being a part of the solution he's going to create a more of a debt then what we already are in. In Admirals McRaven's view, " TALOS is completed with the desired specifications it will 'take a group of guys that are extremely high functioning on the battlefield and make them completely unstoppable," yes the suit will provide safety to our military personnel, but what happens to our country in need of desperate resources. Admiral don't you think we should care of our people in our country first? As shown that everyone wants to be Iron Man but the resource of money and intelligence is indeed needed to do so.

Hello everyone and welcome once again to our humble blog. The picture above is one showing the superhero "Batman'' , he is standing on a pile of money, two money bags besides him , and some dollar notes in the air (probably hundred dollar bills given the quantity he is standing on), saying '' I DON'T NEED A JOB'' . The picture clearly talks about the fact that Batman is a rich superhero who has a lot of money and so can afford to become a superhero and not have to go to work like every other person.
The whole picture might look unrealistic but it does have a realistic point of view in the fact that if Batman wasn't rich, he'd have no other choice but to get a job so he could survive and therefore he wont have the time and opportunity to become a superhero. The curved line on the right side of his head signifies him speaking, and the whole picture is shaped in a rather childish square-ish manner. The blank space around him signifies that there is probably not anymore to show in the picture and the yellow background signifies joy, happiness, and satisfaction.

The Man

Hello fellow viewer , I hope you guys having a wonderful day and today for this post I will be talking about my visual analysis. In this Picture the Arrow is holding his bow back like he is going to shoot it, "A diagonal strut holding in place a vertical stud and horizontal beam is in tension"(47) his action is causing a lot of tension with his body position and the bow. His tension is showing us how he is going to shoot someone . Arrow is in the middle in the picture, this tell us a lot and this is showing us  "the center in the page is more effective"(62), and that correct because in this picture Arrow is center he is the main focus or the audience. The audience can tell by look at this photo that he is about to get in a fight with one of his enemies. Hope you enjoyed it and come back for more content.

Visual Image Analysis of Iron Man

Hello my fellow viewers! Welcome back to our blog, “ What Makes a Super Hero?” This week ill be focusing on a picture of Iron Man, and interpret what it is communicating to us. Iron Man in this picture illustrates to us that he is fighting crime to safe us all from evildoers. You can see that the city is falling apart towers collapsing diagonally, asteroids hitting the city, and only one super hero trying to safe the day standing tall. In the book, “ How Pictures Work,” by Molly Bang emphasizes in a particular section of her book (Pg. 62) that when an object, person, or thing is the main attraction of the picture you analyze the figure in the picture first and then you move your eyes elsewhere around the figure. When Bang said, “ Our emotional response depends on the context, but the fact remains that it is difficult to take our eyes from the center and move them around the page,” it helps us comprehend the promotion of Iron Man and his daily job as a super hero. Other then iron man what automatically catch’s my eyes are the bright lights that he has in his chest, and in the palm of his hand. Iron man being the center of attention in this photo it makes us focus on him and everything else after. The color of the sky that turquoise looking with bright yellow in the bottom left corner of the picture makes me assume that the world is in a need of help. The background where Iron Man is standing makes us the audience assume that the community was in a place of instability. The dark colors of the pictures seems like there isn't any hope until Iron Man plays his role.  Iron man looks like he is determined to do whatever it takes to destroy the evildoers that are trying to harm the lives of innocent civilians. The purpose of this picture is to establish a  message to the immortal people that there is someone that will stand along the side of justice.

Is Money The Real Power

Money takes a big role in some Superheroes lives,a blog I found that talks about that to is   5Reasons The Non-Superpowered Superhero Thing Is Bullshitby Jason Iannone. He talk about five different topic ,Endless, Obscene Wealth, ludicrously genius intellect, Mastery Of Every Fighting Style Ever Invented, Modern Medicine Makes Them Super Anyways, and Peak Physical Condition about non-super powered heroes. I will only focus on Endless, Obscene Wealth because it relates to my topic. Basically it takes a lot of money for a person to become a superheroes. The reason he states that is because all the gadgets they use cost a lot of money to developed and if this were to happen a person must be extremely rich to become a super hero, Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne have done that only because they both have very successful business to maintain their company from falling to the ground by wasting all that money in there equipment. The real power they have is money nothing else because money make their gadgets and without the gadgets they aren't superheroes.  There are many other superheroes that have money and are able to become hero, like Arrow, Proffesor  Charles X and T'Challa. We will be talkingbout some of these later in our blog so take tune for more.

summary of super hero and body image

Summary
The blog on superheroes and body image explains and gives us information of how body image or specific body has to do with being a super hero. It explains how certain people are chosen to play parts of a super hero and how height, body weight are majorly considered.

My view on the post
Personally, i agree with the blog talking about super heros and body image. A particular super hero has always being known for his specific body image , a skinny guy would never fit to play superman role, nor a fat guy. The world has the body type of superheros in their mind already and so whenever there is a drastic change, it will most likely not be welcomed well.

In the blogs, “These Are the 5 Richest Superheroes,” by Jacob Davidson, and “ Is Batman Really A Superhero?” by Drew Magary emphasize that wealthy individuals have gotten the recognition of superheroes undeservingly. Both blogs are designed to focus on Batman as an example and the wealth that he posse. They stress that Batman, as many other superheroes don’t have what it takes to be an actual hero, and fight evil without gadgets. Jacob Davidson highlights in his blog the amount of money that Bruce Wayne also known as Batman is worth. It spotlights that the man behind Batman is able to afford gadgets and karate training to be able to perform as a superhero. When it comes to the topic of superheroes, most of us will readily agree that Batman is a true superhero without his devices. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of if gadgets don’t make a superhero what does? Whereas some are convinced that a superhero should have gadgets to protect civilians against evil, others maintain that not necessarily you have to have all these expensive pieces of technology to earn the status of a superhero. I agree with the two blogs presented as evidence that Batman and other superheroes aren’t really what they picture. If it weren’t for his bat mobile and other devices that he has he wouldn’t be able to fight Spiderman, The Hulk, or Joker. The money makes the superhero when it should be the other way around the super hero making the money. So we can see my fellow audience that money is a necessary resource that superheroes need.
